Step-by-Step: Checking Results via USSD

Follow these simple steps to check your child's school results using USSD.

Dialling the USSD Code

1. On your phone's dial pad, enter the DesisPay USSD short code. For example: *XXX*YYY# (replace with the actual code provided by your school or DesisPay).
2. Press the Call/Send button to initiate the USSD session.
3. The DesisPay USSD menu will appear on your screen.

Navigating the Menu

1. Open your phone's messaging app.
2. Create a new message with the following format:

   RESULTS [Student Code] [Term]
   

   For example: RESULTS STD12345 T3

4. Wait for the reply. Within 1-2 minutes, you will receive an SMS containing your child's results summary.

Primary School Grading (P.1 - P.7)

Secondary schools in Uganda typically follow the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) grading system:

• O-Level (S.1 - S.4): Uses the D1-F9 scale similar to primary school.

"USSD Session Timed Out"

USSD sessions automatically end after about 180 seconds of inactivity:

• Respond to each prompt quickly.
• If the session times out, simply dial the code again and start over.
